How do I make an appointment?

You can book an appointment right here through our website, through the “hours + book” tab. Please do not stress about choosing the “right” tan when booking, nothing is pre-mixed and we”ll discuss with you at the time of your appointment which option is best! We are an appointment only studio. Please make sure you arrive on-time or a few minutes early for your session. We schedule our appointments every 20 minutes. If you have any questions please feel free to email us!

How do I prep for my appointment?

The day before, exfoliate all dry, dead skin. Using one of our exfoliating mitts sold in studio ($10.00), will help maximize results. For hair removal, make sure to shave and/or wax all unwanted hair at least 12 hours before your tan. The day of your tan, you can again, exfoliate all of your dead, dry skin. Please come to your appointment without lotion, deodorant, perfume, or self tanner on the skin.

Can I wax, get a mani/pedi or get a massage after I get a spray tan?

NO. We do not recommend getting a wax, mani/pedi or massage after getting a tan. The wax may result in taking the spray tan off, leaving your skin un-tan in those areas. Getting a deep tissue massage or mani/pedi may leave your spray tan looking uneven. We recommend getting your tan last, especially before a big event, like a wedding.

What should I expect once I arrive?

One of our trained spray tan technicians will greet you & consult with you about your natural skin tone, what you are tanning for, and what color you are trying to achieve.

How long does it take?

The whole process from the time you walk in, to the time you walk out, only 20 minutes!

How many days before an event do you recommend getting the tan?

For a wedding, 2 days prior is ideal. For a vacation, 1 day prior is what we recommend!

What should I wear?

For your appointment-ladies: you may undress to your comfort level. This may be a bathing suit, shorts + a tank top, just undies, or nothing. We have disposable pasties, underwear, hair nets, and hair ties for anyone who needs or wants them for their appointment.

Men: you must wear some sort of undergarment, no exceptions.

For after the tan has been applied, wear loose dark clothing to go home in. During the warmer months, a long looser sun dress works as well!

How long will my tan last?

With proper before & after care, your tan will last about a week. Being in the chlorine and salt water will make the tan fade quicker. Ask about our products in our studios to help lengthen the life of your tan!

Can I shave while I have a spray tan?

Yes. No one wants hairy, tan legs. Please be sure to wait at least 24 hours after your tan has been applied and be gentle - shaving is a form of mild exfoliation so we want you to be careful that you do not remove the tan.

Can I get a spray tan if I have a sunburn?

It is not recommended. Spray tanning on top of skin that is sunburned will risk your spray tan peeling. You also do not want to exfoliate your sunburn prior to your tanning session because it could irritate your skin and could cause peeling to occur.

Can I get a spray tan while breastfeeding?

Yes! We recommend covering your chest area with a strapless bra, to avoid getting the tan on your baby. The easiest way to do so is to get one of our super express tans so that you can shower in as little as 2-4 hours + will not have to worry about transferring the tan onto your baby! After your shower, you’re good!

How do I maintain my tan?

Avoid bar soaps, exfoliants and products that are not designed for use with a spray tan. For best results when showering, use our “sunless safe” body wash. You should always use a “sunless safe” moisturizer post-shower to keep your skin hydrated. For best results, browse our selection in our studios. Coconut oil also works great!
